"Humanity is sitting on a ticking time bomb. If the vast majority of the world's scientists are right, we have just ten years to avert a major catastrophe that could send our entire planet into a tail-spin of epic destruction involving extreme weather, floods, droughts, epidemics and killer heat waves beyond anything we have ever experienced. That's the opening paragraph on a website describing the movie, "An Inconvenient Truth". These words may sound like scare-mongering but when you see the before and after footage in the movie, the prospect of that outcome is frighteningly REAL.

"An Inconvenient Truth" shows graphic progressive footage of the effect global warming is REALLY having on our planet ... anihilation of glaciers worldwide, significant ice melts in the north pole and Antarctica and weather changes that will lead to massive climate change and permanent changes to our coastlines within 10 years, if we don't do something drastic about it.

I urge you to go and see "An Inconvenient Truth" and when you do that, take along everyone you know too. Although the possible outcomes are disturbing, there IS something that each and every one of us can do to save our planet.
